Running has saved me so many times in so many ways that it’s pointless to try to quantify its impact on my life. Some days, running reveals my strength and other days it lays bare my weakness. Either way I trust it completely, like a close, brutally honest friend. Unfailingly, it gives me the space to think clearly and reset. Most days, it brings my surroundings and circumstances into sharp focus and then usually a smile, but sometimes tears. Sometimes both. Extra bonus: it comes with me wherever I go.
Today, running is my joy.
