In my adult-married life, we've moved around a bit. Each time we've moved into a new home, I've made a silent ritual of hanging our wedding invitation, framed beautifully and given to us by my mom soon after our wedding day, in a special spot. It feels so good to bring cherished things with us as we move into new spaces, and since Write In Place is my new writing home, I've plucked some bits of writing--many originally posted with photos but some without, some longer pieces and some tiny moments that felt important in my writing life--out of Facebook and am hanging them here for us to re/read together.
